Brandon Amon McConnell

Brandon Amon McConnell, of Stoneboro, passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday, Aug. 25, 2013. He was 15.

Born July 23, 1998, in Grove City, Brandon was a son of Ryan K. and Stephanie D. Welton McConnell.

He was beginning his freshman year at Lakeview High School.

Brandon was an avid reader and expert swimmer and marksman. He was very artistic and produced many fine drawings his family will treasure.

Brandon, known to family and friends as “Bam Bam,” was always entertaining with his dry sense of humor. He was charming, witty, fun-loving and kind.

He was family-oriented and enjoyed spending time with his cousins and a wide variety of pets. He is loved and will be missed each and every day.

He leaves behind his mom and dad and his siblings, Ashley and Hunter McConnell, all Stoneboro; his maternal grandparents, John and JoAnn Welton, Kennerdell.; paternal grandparents, Barb and Gary Diday, and Larry “Butch” McConnell and Louella McConnell, all Stoneboro; maternal great-grandmother, Donelda Bryant, Templeton, Calif.; and paternal great-grandmother, Marian McConnell, Stoneboro; loving aunts and uncles, Alan and Hilary Amon, Todd McConnell, and Kori and Ron Minor, all Stoneboro; and loving cousins, Carly and Tucker Amon; Andrea and Todd “TJ” McConnell; Michael and Joseph Marotta; and Justin Minor.

He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents, John Bottini and Wayne and Evangeline Welton; paternal great-grandparents, Frank and Evelyn Amon and Harry G. “Hank” McConnell; and a special aunt, Heather McConnell.
