Mary E. Prenatt

Mary E. Prenatt, 52, of 4118 State Route 417 Cooperstown, PA. died at 1:30 A.M. on Saturday Sept. 7, 2013, after an extended illness.

Born Nov. 27, 1960, in Oil City, PA., she was the daughter of the late James H. Martin & Elizabeth M. Steirly Martin.

Mary was a 1978 graduate of Oil City High School.

She was married to John L. Prichard on May 1, 1981 and he preceded her in death in May 1995.

On Sept. 16, 2011 she married Tim Prenatt and he survives.

Mary had worked as a Para Professional for the Oil City Area School District.

She enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching the Pittsburgh Steelers, gardening, taking care of her flowers, canning and an occasional trip to the casino. She always looked forward to a good Stephen King Book.

Mary formerly attended Our Lady Help of Christians church and also attended the Oakland United Methodist Church.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children, Dan Prichard & his wife Angel of Titusville,Amanda Braun & her husband Matt of Dempseytown, and Tim Prenatt II of Florida; three grandchildren,Samantha Prichard, Andrew Prichard, and Alyssa Braun; two sisters, Debbie Campman & her husband Walt of Oil City, Stepanie Ace & her husband Dave of Franklin; two brothers,Mike Martin & his wife Jeanine of Henderson, CO, Jim “Beaver” Martin of Federal Heights, CO; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Jim & Helen Prenatt of Oil City, as well as several in-laws and nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 P.M. Monday in the Reinsel Funeral Home with the Funeral Service at 2:00 P.M. in the Funeral Home with Rev. Shane Mathew, Presiding.

Interment will be in Lamey Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Oakland Volunteer Fire Department.
