Kate was employed at Bakers Auto Parts in Seneca for many years from which she retired in 1984.

She also was an active member of the Northwest Hospital Auxiliary where she volunteered on a regular basis while her health allowed. Kate often spoke of the wonderful people that volunteer there like Mabel, Cindy and Jo.

Also surviving is a nephew Ronald Stanford and his wife Shirley of Masury, OH, who held a special place in Kate’s heart.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a son Dennis Wade Banks who died in 1966 at the age of 18 due to a complication from muscular dystrophy. Also preceding her in death are her sisters, Marge Arlene Cumming and Betty Jane Stanford.
