Nicholas Joseph “Nick” Cherico, age 60, of Shippenville, passed away on December 9, 2013 at the Golden Living Center in Shippenville after a brief and courageous battle with cancer.

In addition to his wife, Nick is survived by his brother, Jeffrey Cherico of Clarion; his sisters, Cindy Cherico of Clarion, and Sue Arendas and her husband David of Clarion; and his kitty, Gracie Mae.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Nick’s honor to the Arc of Clarion, or Clarion Vocation Services.

Arrangements are under the care of the Goble Funeral Home and Crematory, 330 Wood Street in Clarion. There will be no visitation.

A mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Immaculate Conception Church at 10:00am on Saturday, December 14, with Father Monty Sayers officiating.
