Judith A. Blakley

Judith A. Blakley, age 69, of Union City, passed away unexpectedly at the home of her son on Saturday, December 21, 2013.

She was born in Oil City on February 9, 1944, daughter of the late Jackson and Betty Krug.

Judi was a member of St. Theresa’s R.C. Church in Union City and the Legion of Mary. She was employed at Sylvania Mfg. in Pleasantville, prior to her retirement. Judi was an active member of the Oil City, Corry, and Union City Moose Lodge Auxiliaries and the Union City American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed hunting and fishing. One of her greatest joys was time with her grandchildren who lovingly called her “GrammaBigalee”.

Judi is survived by one son, Richard J. Nuhfer (Autumn); one brother, James Krug (Pat); one sister, Julie Hughes; four grandchildren, Kayla and Casey McHenry and Nicholas and Jonathan Nuhfer. She is further survived by her nephews, great-nephews, many close friends, and will be sadly missed by her dog, Halley. She was preceded in death by one brother, Jack Krug.

Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., East, 2607 Buffalo Rd., on Friday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and are invited to attend a Prayer Service there on Saturday at 10:45 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at Holy Rosary R. C. Church at 11:30 a.m. Interment, Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Mooseheart Child City and School, Inc., Mooseheart, IL 60539.
