Larry S. Greene. 61, of 559 Hill City Rd. passed away with his wife by his side after a battle with Cancer.
Born March 29, 1952 in Oil City, PA., he was the son of Janet Marie Boring Greene and the late John Kenneth Greene.
Larry had worked for Continental Can Co. and Consolidated Container, retiring on Dec. 12, 2013 after 22 years of service.
He was married on Aug. 19, 2012 to Deborah A. Spangler, they were the recipients of the soon2bemrs worthy wedding giveaway.
Larry was a member of the Oil City Moose Club.
He enjoyed fishing, visiting casinos and taking long car rides.
He enjoyed taking care of his goose Opal.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his mother, Janet Greene of Oil City, two daughters, Michelle Hanna of Pittsburgh, Elizabeth Grandelis & her husband Dane of Pittsburgh, his son, Scott Greene and his wife Julie of Oil City, two Step-children, Shelby Spangler of Cranberry, Jessica Spangler of Chicago, ten grandchildren, Maris Hanna, Treton Hanna, Landon Hanna, Eden Hanna, Ezra Hanna, Paige Hanna, Ricky Gonzales, Tegan Elise Spangler and Roselle Grandelis and one on the way Grandelis, three brothers, Curtis Greene of Oil City, Randy Greene of Oil City, Jeff Greene of Oil City, two sisters, Julie Schneider of Oil City, Christine Klapec & her husband Mike of Oil City, his mother-in-law, Josephine A. Wnuk of Oil City, a sister-in-law, Mary Jo Laufenberg & her husband Daryl, and a brother-in-law, Mark V. Wnuk
He was preceded in death by his father.
Friends will be received from 1-3 and from 5-7 P.M. Saturday in the Reinsel Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday at 1:00 P.M. with Deacon Tim Wren, Presiding.
