Hazel Mumford McNeil Davison

Hazel Mumford McNeil Davison died Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 1:55pm at the age of 92 while residing at McKinley Health Center.

A service will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at 11:00am at McKinney Funeral Home in Brookville, Pennsylvania. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm and prior to the funeral.

Hazel was born on December 28, 1921 in Brookville, Pennsylvania to Cena (Rhoades) and Walter Mumford. Hazel had six siblings (Virginia Royer, Walter (Dick) Mumford, Betty Mumford, Ivan Mumford, and Nancy Fiscus) who preceded her in death. Also, Ralph Mumford who resides in Brookville is her only living sibling.

Hazel was married to Melvin McNeil from Sigel on July 4, 1941. Melvin passed away April 15, 1985. On September 12, 1992, Hazel married Ralph Davison and they resided in Florida. Ralph passed away on July 1, 2003. At this time, Hazel moved back to Brookville to live with her son, Michael Jon McNeil.

A daughter, Mollie Cotten, who resides with her husband, Richard Cotten, in Mars, Pennsylvania, survives Hazel. Also, her son, Michael Jon McNeil lives in Brookville, Pennsylvania. Her older daughter, Marsha Cable and her husband Richard Cable preceded Hazel in death.

Hazel worked for the National Fuel Gas Company as a clerk, the Brookville Area Schools as a bookkeeper, and S & T Bank in Brookville, Pennsylvania. Hazel was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Brookville. Any memorial contributions may be made to the Presbyterian Church in memory of Hazel.

Five grandchildren also survive Hazel, Cristy Lowe from Lititz, Pennsylvania and Andy Cable and Dan Cable from Brookville, Pennsylvania. Also, surviving grandchildren are Ryan Milliron from Mars, Pennsylvania and Ethan McNeil from Waukegan, Illinois. Five great grandchildren, Cole, Zoe, Jake, and David Cable from Brookville, Pennsylvania and Chloe Ryann Milliron from Mars, Pennsylvania, also survive her.

Her family and many friends will miss Hazel. She lived her life with grace.
