Paul E. Behringer, 78, of 1113 Russell Corners Rd. Pleasantville, PA. died at 7:40 P.M. Tuesday March 4, 2014 at his home following an extended illness.
Born Oct. 31, 1935 in Bradford, PA., he was the son of the late Edward L Behringer & Hazel A. Hughes Behringer.
Paul was a 1953 graduate of Oil City High School. He then went on to graduate with an Associates Degree from DeVry.
Mr. Behringer was a veteran of the United States Army
Paul was married in Chicago, IL. On Aug. 3, 1957 to the former Barbara E. Martin and she survives.
He had worked as a Field Engineer for IBM.
Paul was a member of the Titusville Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He was a man of faith who loved his God, Jehovah. He was also a loyal follower of God’s Son, Jesus Christ, our reigning King and our redeemer.
Paul enjoyed fishing and hunting , and especially enjoyed hunting out west for elk and mule deer.
He is survived by two sons, Bruce Behringer of Cherrytree and David & Michele Behringer of Pleasantville.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Proper.
There will be no viewing or visitation.
A Memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 23526 Titusville Road, Titusville, PA. (Rt. 27) on March 15, 2014, at 3:30 P.M.
