Faye Marie Kennedy

Faye Marie Kennedy, age 81, of Berlin, Maryland and formerly of Knox, passed away Sunday morning, August 25, 2013 in Maryland.

Born March 22, 1932, in Corsica, she was a daughter of the late John and Annabelle Kennedy.

She was a 1950 graduate of Clarion-Limestone High School.

Faye married Stanley Mosier and he preceded her in death.

She was employed for 25 years in a position that she truly loved. She was a receptionist and switchboard operator for Knox Glass Containers.

After her retirement from Knox Glass, she worked part time for the Literacy Council at Clarion University.

Faye was a member of the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Knox and resided in Knox for most of her life. She eventually moved to Maryland to be closer to her family and was a resident of the Gull Creek Assisted Living Community in Berlin, Maryland for the past year.

Survivors include a daughter: Sandra Troese of Ocean City, Maryland; two sons: John McCleary and his wife, Gerri, of Alexandria, Virginia and Brad McCleary of Chambersburg, Maryland; two grandsons: Joseph Troese and his wife, Diana and Tony Troese, all of Annapolis, Maryland; two granddaughters: Melinda McCleary of Marco Island, Florida and Maria Milkowski and her husband, Karl, of West Chester.

She is also survived by a great granddaughter, Alivia Rose Troese, of Annapolis, Maryland.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Vandervort of Brookville.

There will be no calling hours.

A funeral service for family and friends will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 4, 2013, in the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 1051 Twin Church Road, Knox. Reverend Karen Parsh, pastor at St. Paul’s Lutheran, will officiate over the service.

Interment will follow in the Knox Union Cemetery.
