Jean M. Vasey Weyman, 98, of Brighton Twp., Beaver County, passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at Good Samaritan Hospice at Heritage Valley, Beaver, PA.
Born on May 8, 1915 in St. Petersburg, Clarion County, Jean was the daughter of Charles R. and Margaret E. Linnon Vasey.
Jean was a graduate of St. Petersburg High School. She was married to Ernest F. Weyman. He preceded her in death on November 11, 1976. Jean was a homemaker and had been employed as a waitress.
Surviving is a brother, Charles R. Vasey Jr. and his wife, Ruth, of St. Petersburg; a daughter, Karen E. Barger of Sandusky, Ohio; a son John R. Murray and his wife, Cheryol, of Grass Valley, California, as well as a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Weyman was preceded in death by a son, Robert L. “Buzz” Murray and a sister, Madelyn E. Weeter.
A graveside service with interment was held Thursday at St. Petersburg Cemetery with the Rev. Deborah Jacobson, pastor of St. Peter Lutheran Church, St. Petersburg, officiating.
