Michael J. Kossman, 53, of Clarion, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 3, 2013, at the UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.
Born January 6, 1960 in Brookville; he was the son of George F. and Illean Lehman Kossman of Clarion.
Mike was an equipment operator where he worked with the family business, George F. Kossman Excavating.
He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Clarion. Mike enjoyed gardening and computers. He loved his dog, Brandi.
Surviving are his parents and a sister, Vicki Loll of Corsica.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Frank and Helen Kossman, maternal grandparents, Cleave and Erma Walters, and a brother-in-law, Timothy Loll.
Family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, December 8, 2013, at the Robert V. Burns Funeral Home, 638 Wood Street, Clarion.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, December 8, 2013, in the funeral home with Rev. Monty Sayers, pastor of the Immaculate Conception Church, officiating.
Interment will be held in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
