Kevin A. (Buddy) McClaine

Kevin A. (Buddy) McClaine, 54, of Knox, passed away Thursday, December 5, 2013 surrounded by his loving family.

The son of William J. and Thelma J. (Campbell) McClaine, he was born April 11, 1959 in Clarion. For the past 12 years, Kevin’s home has been with his compassionate and loving caregivers sister and brother-in-law, Donna and John Finefrock of Knox.

Kevin was previously employed by Goodwill Industries and Ship-n-Bill. He enjoyed participating in Special Olympics, particularly bowling, loved music, Sunday morning coffee with his brothers, scratch-off lottery tickets, vacations and playing board games with his family, bringing laughter and joy to all who knew him.

Buddy is the heart and soul of the McClaine family and his memory will be forever cherished by his twin Kim (Ron) Hartle and brothers and sisters:Carol (Robert) Couch, Butch (Marty) McClaine, Steve (Jan) McClaine, Dan (Barb) McClaine, Cut (Lisa) McClaine, Donna (John) Finefrock, Barb Rex (Steve Bair), Sis McClaine (Connie Brock), Bird (Lana) McClaine and Brooks McClaine.

Near and dear to Uncle Bud, the following nieces and nephews survive: Heidi, Chris, Todd Janet), Kelly (Joe), Scott (Justine), BJ (Jamie), Becca (James), Deb (Andy), Jen (Tony), Jamie, Jodie, Kristen (Anthony), Ashley (David), Joe (Rikki), Dustin (Dana), Erin (Dustin), Kelly (Derek), Lawton (Kodi), Ashley (Jon) and Andrew (Erin); great-nieces and nephews Jessica, Courtney, Justine, Gracie, Katie, Dougie, Madyn, Ryan, Dylan, Rylee, Gavin, Laney, Hunter, Brock and Rebekah. Kevin will be greatly missed by aunts and uncles, numerous cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, numerous aunts and uncles, and a much-loved nephew, Jake McClaine.

Visitation will be from 2-8 PM Friday at the Goble Funeral Home & Crematory, 330 Wood St Clarion, PA.

Funeral services will be on Saturday at 11:00 AM from the Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Hannold officiating. Interment will follow in the Cedarview Memorial Park in Strattanville.

Memorials may be made to the Clarion-Forest VNA Hospice.
