Linda A. Daum, age 59, of Tionesta, PA, died on Thursday, December 5, 2013 at Windsor House (Snyder Memorial) in Marienville, PA after a lengthy illness.
She was born November 15, 1954 in Greensburg, PA, daughter of Geneva (Kleckner) Peters, who survives in Pine Island, Florida, and the late Warren Peters.
On April 2, 1983 in Conneautville, PA she married Rodney G. Daum, who survives.
Linda was employed by the Forest Area School district as a Reading Specialist for 28 years. She was educated at Edinboro University where she earned her Bachelors and Master’s Degree in Reading Education.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Tionesta and enjoyed any outdoor activity including fishing, camping, canoeing, she especially enjoyed flower gardening and loved cats and dogs.
In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by three sons, Garrett E. Daum of Canton, Ohio; Garrison E. Daum at home; and Garrick W. Daum of Canonsburg, PA. A brother, Frederick Peters and his wife Kelly of Middletown, PA. A sister, Susan Schwab and her husband Geoffrey of Conneautville, PA. Several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Norman J. Wimer Funeral Home of Tionesta on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 9, 2013, 11am, at the funeral home with Clarion/Forest VNA Hospice Chaplain Rev. Randy L. Evans, officiating. Burial at Riverside Cemetery in Tionesta.
