Evelyn Stahlman Birocco 89 of St. Petersburg, FL formerly of Clarion, PA passed away onMarch 4, 2014.
She was born October 24, 1924 to Mildred McElhoes and Paige Stahlman of New Bethlehem, PA.
She was the loving mother of her three children Joseph Eric Birocco(wife Julie Sanfilippo) of St. Petersburg, FL, Cassandra Birocco(partner Teri Desrosiers) of Johnston, RI and Michael Alexis Birocco of Rimbersburg, PA., and loving grandmother of Joshua Eric Birocco(wife Tracy Krouse Birocco)and two great granddaughters Sophia and Luciana of Belfast, ME and big sister to William Keith Stahlman(wife Toni Stahlman) of New Bethlehem, PA.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 34 years Joseph Anthony Birocco, her parents and three siblings Joanne and Emmit “Butch” Stahlman and Norma Reichard.
Evelyn was a longstanding member and Elder at the Presbyterian Church of Clarion, PA. along with the Women’s Association and Circle One. She was also a member of Business and Professional Women, a longtime Cancer Society Volunteer and an active member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. For 37 years, Evelyn was the co-owner of Eccles Nurseries, Inc. in Rimersburg, PA.
A private immediate family memorial will be held at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Clarion.
Donations may be made in Evelyn’s honor to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, Suncoast Hospice of St. Petersburg, FL or the Clarion Presbyterian Church.
