Robert P. Woolston passed away on March 13, 2014 at age 79 years in Ocala, FL.
He was predeceased by parents, Loren and Rachel Woolston and his first wife, Evelyn Boothby Woolston. He is survived by his wife, Esther “Carol” Woolston, stepdaughters, Julie (Jeff) Whitling, Brenda Blair, stepson, Bill Boothby and their families, brother, Richard (Nancy) Woolston, nephews, David and Steven Woolston, niece, Carol Ratcliffe and their families, several cousins.
Bob was born in Rochester, moved to Geneseo in 1947 where he lived until moving to Ocala in 2001. He was a graduate of Geneseo Central School and attended Hobart College and SUNY Brockport prior to serving in the U.S. Army in the post Korean War era. He leaves behind many close friends in Geneseo, Pennsylvania and Florida. He had owned several small shops in Western New York and Pennsylvania. For many years he was an avid golfer at Livingston Country Club in Geneseo and Caledonia Country Club.
Memorial Services will be announced in the spring by Rector-Hicks Funeral Home in Geneseo. Interment, Fairfield Cemetery in Spencerport. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Geneseo Ambulance Fund, PO Box 428, Geneseo, NY 14454.
