Elva J. Crisman

Elva J. Crisman, 85, of Templeton, PA, passed away Thursday, February 20, 2014 at Clarview Nursing Home in Sligo.

She was born June 29, 1928 in Kittanning, PA, the daughter of Walter J. and Mary V. (Traister) Unger.

Elva was a lifetime resident of the area and graduated from Union High School in 1947. She worked for Sylvania in Brookville for 10 years as a grid operator and then worked in decorating department at Owens-Brockway in Clarion for 27 years until her retirement in 1991. Elva attended Widnoon United Methodist Church and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, which was associated with Masonic Lodge #522 in New Bethlehem.

Elva was known for being very social and liked talking to other people. For many years she organized the Hawkville School Class Reunion, and she loved her cats, eating out at restaurants and taking vacation to the Outer Banks. Elva loved visiting with her family and friends, and those who knew her will always remember her smile.

Her memory will be cherished by her loving husband of 64 years, Joseph P. Crisman, whom she married on September 3, 1949; daughter, Deborah D. Crisman, of Venus, PA; granddaughter, Nicole Drummond and husband, Andy Philliber, of New Bethlehem; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Elva was preceded in death by her parents.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Sunday, February 23, 2014 at the Bauer-Hillis Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 758 Main Street, Rimersburg, PA.

Additional visitation will be from 10 AM until the time of funeral services at 11 AM on Monday, February 24, 2014 at the funeral home, with Rev. Robert Riever officiating.

Burial will be in Tidal Union Cemetery, Templeton, Pennsylvania.

Member_131367Jeffrey A. Jackson, 57, of Bradford, formerly of Emlenton, a retired Bradford bank manager passed away at 5:10 p.m. Friday, February 21, 2014 at UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh.

Jeffrey was born in Franklin on February 3, 1957. He was the son of the late Willis L. and Leda M. Coulter Jackson. Jeff was of the Methodist Faith. He participated in the Big Brothers program and had served as treasurer for the Bradford Area Chamber of Commerce. Jeffrey enjoyed playing Texas hold’em, snow skiing and the company of his dogs “Miss Mae” and “Bailey”. Jeff was a 1975 graduate of Allegheny Clarion Valley High School in Foxburg and graduated from Edinboro University with a degree in finance and accounting. Mr. Jackson had been employed by Household Finance, Northwest Savings Bank, and for the last fifteen years he was employed as the branch manager at Hamlin Bank and Trust Company in Bradford.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia L. “Ginger” Blair Jackson whom he married on May 22, 1982 at the Foxburg United Methodist Church. Also surviving are four brothers, Mark E. Jackson and his wife Deb, Richard “Cooney” Jackson, Warren Eric Jackson and Stephen M. Jackson and Kimberly Moiseenko, all of Emlenton, as well as a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Friends will be received at the Hile Funeral Home Inc., 1204 Kerr Ave., Emlenton, from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Tuesday. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday from the funeral home with the Rev. Lori Danielson, pastor of the Emlenton Presbyterian Church, officiating. Interment will be in Scrubgrass Presbyterian Cemetery, Emlenton. Memorial contributions in Mr. Jackson’s name may be made to the American Heart Association at www.heart.org.

George C. Schoeppner

George C. Schoeppner, 71, of Knox, passed away Saturday, February 22, surrounded by family and friends in his home. Born April 24, 1942 in Pittsville, he was the son of George and Laura Schoeppner. George graduated from Cranberry High School in 1960.

After graduation he was employed at Dispatch Printing in Erie for several years. After returning to the Knox area he began his career for UPS, where he retired after 35 years of service. George was a long time member of Grace EC Church, and a charter member of the ORCs. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, hunting, shooting skeet and was an avid horseman.

Another one of George’s favorite pastimes was sharing a weekly breakfast with his brother Regis and his cousins David and Dewey.

On July 27, 1963 George married Joyce (Cotherman) Schoeppner who survives. Along with his wife George is survived by two children, Debra Jones and her husband David of Knox, Craig Schoeppner and his wife Catherine of Knox, and six grandchildren Braden Jones, Dalton Jones, Isaak Jones, Talia Jones, Broc Schoeppner and Carla Schoeppner, all of Knox.

Also surviving are a brother Regis Schoeppner and his wife Bonnie of Oil City, a nephew David Schoeppner and two nieces Nancy Ungvarsky and Julie Sheridan. George was preceded in death by his parents.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm Tuesday at the McEntire-Weaver Funeral Home Inc, 504 East Penn Ave, Knox, and from 10 to 11 am Wednesday at the Grace EC Church in Nineveh. Funeral services will be held at 11 am Wednesday in the church with Rev. Randy Evans, good friend and Clarion-Forest VNA Hospice Chaplain officiating, and Rev. Rick Osberg of Grace EC Church assisting.

John G. Edwards

Dr. John G. Edwards, 69, renowned Research Microbiologist and resident of 124 Wyllic St. in Oil City died peacefully Saturday, February 22, 2014 shortly after his arrival in the emergency department of UPMC-Northwest in Seneca.

In accordance of his wished, there will be no public visitation.

Funeral services with entombment in Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens, Cranberry Township shall be private.

James C. Cratty

2434989James C. Cratty, 71, of Parker passed away Saturday (02-22-14) at VNA In-Patient Hospice of Butler following a several months illness.

His death came one day following his 71st birthday. Born in Foxburg on Feb. 21, 1943, he was the son of the late Harry “Whitey” and D. Virginia Cope Cratty. Larry was a graduate of ACV High School in Emlenton in 1961 and a graduate in draftsmanship from Triangle Tech of Pgh.

He had been employed over the years by L. Taylor Engineering of Clarion, Wise Engineering and Armco, both of Butler. He designed the swimming pool still in operation at the Gaslight Campground near Emlenton. He and his wife, Diann Craig Cratty, owned and operated the Parker House Hotel (Cratty Shack) for a total of over twenty years.

Larry was a member of the former Rotary Club of Parker, now PACSO, for many years. He was also a lifetime member of the ACV Sportsmen Club in Perry Twp., and was a member of the Rod and Gun Club of Knox.

He was a social member of the VFW at Parker and Hilliards. Larry and Diann were active associates of the businesses of Parker in support of the Polar Bear Plunge on New Years Day and raising funds for the annual fireworks display on Community Day in Parker. Surviving are his wife, the former Diann Craig whom he married August 25, 1962 in Winchester, Va.; one daughter, Melinda (Eric) Eiler of Parker; three sons: Kenneth Cratty of Parker, Doug (Carla) Cratty of Evans City, and Travis (Sally) Cratty of Parker; ten grandchildren: Kelsey, Kayla, Rebecca, Jordan, Leroy, and Austin Cratty, Hollie Sutton, Brandon Eiler, Jessica McCorkle, and Brittany Boyle; two great-grandchildren: Brady Eiler and Brenna McCorkle; one sister, Joyce (Jack) Chambers of Parker; two brothers: Charles Thomas (Kathy) Cratty of Parker, and Harry (Emma) Cratty of Emlenton; also several nieces and nephews; his mother-in-law, Garnet Craig of West Monterey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Cratty, a brother, Russell Cratty, and an infant sibling.

Friends may call from 2:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday at H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home, 201 So. Wayne Ave., Parker. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Wednesday in the funeral home. Interment in Parker Presbyterian Cemetery.

Edward Louis Kay of Greensboro died January 24, 2014, surrounded by family.

He was born on March 21, 1927 in Oil City, Pennsylvania; the son of Louis and Elizabeth Diver Kay.

Ed is survived by his wife of 61 years, Norma Lalley Kay; and five children – Jeffrey Kay (Peg), Melinda Gerloff, Nancy Hazelman (Casey), Tim Kay, and Sarah Hoyle (Dan); grandchildren Meghan and Jenny Kay, Claire and James Gerloff, Caroline and Patrick Hazelman, Adam (Amy), Anna, and Matthew Hastings, stepgrandchildren Drew, Joseph and David Hoyle, sister, Ann “Toots” Marvin; and a host of nieces and nephews .He was predeceased by brother-in-law Orla F. Marvin, and son-in-law Gary Gerloff.

Ed graduated from Cranberry High School in Oil City, Class of 1945; served in the U.S. Navy, and graduated from Bryant and Stratton Business College in Buffalo, NY. He moved to Greensboro in 1952, where he and Norma were married. He was a member of the North Carolina Society of Accountants (past President, Central Chapter), American Legion (past Commander), the Greensboro Exchange Club (past President), and the Hard Rock Coffee Club (past Grand Pooh-Bah); and served on the Board of Directors of Guilford Crossings HOA. He was a retired fiduciary accountant from Turner Enochs & Lloyd. Ed came to faith in Christ, and was a member of The Living Way Church, where he served as head of ushers and head of depositors.

A memorial service will be held on March 1 at Living Way Church, 4433 Rehobeth Church Road in Greensboro, at 1:30 p.m.

M. Virginia (Ginny) Anderson Huber, 92 of Harrisburg, passed away February 10, 2014.
Born March 18, 1921 in Oil City, PA, she was the daughter of the late Allen and Anna Schwartz Butler.

Ginny graduated from Oil City High School and attended Ohio University in Columbus, OH. She was a member of Pennsylvania Retired State Employees (PARSE) and a lifetime member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority where she received the Exemplar Degree in 1969.

She retired from PennDOT as an Executive Secretary for the Deputy Secretary for local and area transportation.

Surviving are daughters, Sharon Anderson of Harrisburg and Karen (Werner) Hartl of Lambertville, NJ, granddaughter, Katherine Hartl of Princeton, NJ.

A memorial service will be held 11:00am, Friday February 28, 2014 at Calvary United Methodist Church, 4700 Locust Lane, Harrisburg, PA 17109.

Interment will be private.

Randy J. Guth

Randy J. Guth, 54, of Shippenville passed away Saturday February 22, 2014 at Golden Living Clarion after a lengthy illness.

Born on March 1, 1959 in Clarion he was the son of Alfred and Shirley Stromyer Guth who both survive.

He was a graduate of North Clarion Schools.

Randy was of the Christian Faith.

He was self employed working for many years in the construction field. Randy also worked at engraving cemetery monuments. His real love was landscaping and horticulture.

Randy moved back to the Clarion area after living and working in Colma City, California.

He was especially close to his Aunt Marie Bish who helped care for him during his illness.

Randy is survived by his parents, and siblings Cal Guth of Sharon Ohio; Pamela Lonidier of Pearlington, MS; and Jody Guth of Shippenville. Also surviving are three nephews, Eric Lonidier, Andrew Guth and Mason Guth; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his Grandparents: Russell and Doris Stromyer; Alfred and Opal Guth and a brother Gary Guth.

There will be no pubic visitation. Faller Funeral Home, Inc. will be caring for the family.

Mass of a Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at 10:00 am in St. Michael Church in Fryburg with Rev. DG Davis III, pastor as celebrant.

The family suggests that memorials be made to the Monsignor Theobald Fund at St. Michael Church or

Clarion-Forest VNA Hospice program.

Florence F. DavisFlorence F. Davis, 93, of Highland Oaks, Shippenville, formerly of Knox, PA, died peacefully Saturday, February 22, 2014.
Born on March 10, 1920 in Wilmington, NC; she was the daughter of the late Ferdinand and Florence D. Hawkins Fick.

She was married on August 7, 1943 to Everett Van Davis, who preceded her in death on October 16, 2007.

She attended the Women’s College, now UNC Greensboro, in North Carolina.

Florence worked as a tour guide at Popular Grove Plantation in Wilmington, NC. She also worked at Logue’s Hardware in Knox, PA.

She was of the Methodist faith and was a member of the Rocky Point United Methodist Church in Rocky Point, NC.

Florence belonged to numerous organizations. She was a mother of O.A. Chunka Dancers, past president of the Knox Civic Club, and a lifetime member and past president of the Port City Basket Makers.

She is survived by her son, Everett Davis Jr. and his wife, Laura Pratt-Davis, of Montana and her daughter, Dixie Jordan and her husband, John, of Shippenville.

Also surviving are four grandchildren, Tyler D. Davis and his wife, Nitzi, of New York, Heath D. Jordan and his wife, Andrea, of Illinois, Jennifer S. Davis-Glickman and her husband, Jamie, of Virginia, and Kyle L. Shirey and her husband, John, of Pennsylvania; and four great grandchildren, Elizabeth and Addyson Shirey of Pennsylvania, Trent Jordan of Illinois, and Athena Glickman of Virginia.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Robert V. Burns Funeral Home, 638 Wood Street, Clarion.

Visitation will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. on Friday, February 28, 2014 at the Highland Oaks, First Floor Sitting Room.

There will be no services.

Interment will be held at Oakdale Cemetery in Wilmington, NC.

Edith R. Mott Scott, 91, of Chestnut Street ,Franklin died at 1:05 AM ,Monday, February 24, 2014 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Born December 16, 1922 in Franklin, Edith was the daughter of the late Garfield and Beatrice (Jackson) Mott.

Edith was employed at the Franklin Community Center and also retired from Pennzoil where she was an Administrative Assistant.

She was a member of First Baptist Church.

Edith loved listening to all types of music but especially enjoyed listening to church music. She loved the Lord and her family meant everything to her.

Edith is survived by her son, Dennis “Buzzy” Scott of Pittsburgh; her daughters, Joan E. Stevenson of Warren Robins, GA and Annette M. “Netta” Scott of Franklin; her sisters, Maebelle Poindexter of Franklin, and Daisy Rorie and Joanne Miles both of Pittsburgh; her grandchildren, Gabriel Joseph Rehak and his wife, Anna, Jeremie Dennis Rehak and his girlfriend, Ashley Shuluga, Bailey Marie Scott, Joseph Vibonese and Leroy Manuel Stevenson; her great-grandchildren, Nicolina Sophia Rehak and LaRoy Stevenson; several nieces and nephews; and her very special nephews and niece, Timothy D. Daniels, Penny Daniels, Stephen Daniels, Dr. Joseph Stewart, and Albert Lawson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Garfield Mott II, John D. Mott, Robert Mott, Arthur Mott, Joseph Mott and Lindsey “L.C.” Mott; her sisters, Pearline Stewart and Beatrice Davis; her great-aunt Bennie Lawson; her great-uncle Donald Lawson; and her special cousin George Williams.

A Memorial Service for Edith will be held at the First Baptist Church, 1041 Liberty Street, Franklin, at 11 AM, on Saturday, March 1, 2014 with Rev. Randy Powell pastor of the Church, officiating.

Mary M. Roberts, 75, of 1 Sycamore St. Oil City, PA. died at 4:30 P.M. Sunday Feb. 23, 2014 at UPMC-Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Born March 13, 1938 in Cameron, WV. , she was the daughter of the late Lee Shipman & Eva G. Riggle Shipman.

Mary was married to Robert E. Roberts on Dec. 11, 1957 and he preceded her in death on May 13, 2012.

She had worked as a housekeeper for the former Holiday Inn of Oil City.

Mrs. Roberts was a Latter -day Saint.

She most enjoyed spending time with her family.

Mary is survived by three children and their spouses, Dawanha Rogers & her husband John of Guys Mills, Arthur Roberts & his wife Heather of Oil City, Mona Hitchcock & her husband Ken of Taylor, MI, Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren survive.

She is also survived by her sister, Clara Sutterfield of Cecil, PA., And by several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded by a son Robert E (Bobby) Roberts Jr. in 1961

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday March 8, 2014 at 1:00 P.M.in the Reinsel Funeral Home, 116 Bissell Ave. Oil City, PA. with Bishop Robert C. Martin of the Franklin Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, presiding.

Mary J. Lawrence, 74, of 1 Jefferson St. Oil City, PA. died at 2:40 A.M. Feb. 23, 2014 at St. Vincent Health Center in Erie, PA.

Born March 29, 1939 in Franklin, PA., she was the daughter of the late Birdie Viola Caldwell Rhoades.

She was married March 15, 1985 to Barry Collingwood and he survives.

Mary had worked as a caretaker.

She enjoyed cooking and baking.

Mary was a member of the Oil City Wesleyan Methodist Church.

She is survived by two brothers, Wilbur D. Hoffman & his wife Nancy of Grove City, James L. Salsgiver & his wife Loretta of Titusville, Close Cousins, Betty Voorhies, Sharon Anthony and Esther Miller, And by several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 6-8 P.M. Thursday Feb. 27 in the Reinsel Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held at 8 P.M. with Rev. Raymond Cope, Pastor, of the Oil City Wesleyan Methodist Church, Presiding.

Interment will be in Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens.

Clyde L. “Doc” Young, 74, a resident of 3984 Deep Hollow Road, Franklin died peacefully at 4:20 a.m. Sunday, February 23, 2014 in the Golden Living Center of Oil City; following a period of declining health.

He was born July 24, 1939 in Oil City, a beloved son of the late: Clyde E. and Doris May McGee Young.

Helen Jean McIntyre, 81, of Clarion Street in Oil City died at 1:08 p.m. on Monday, February 24, 2014 at UPMC Northwest in Seneca following a brief illness.

Born March 4, 1932 in Oil City, she was the daughter of the late Marion S. and Mary Ann Morrison Goodwill.

She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Oil City.

Helen most enjoyed the company of her family, children, and grandchildren. She also enjoyed crocheting, gardening, and was an avid reader.

Mrs. McIntyre worked for Grant’s Dry Cleaning in Oil City, and was an assistant manager for the Kentucky Fried Chicken Restaurant in Oil City for many years, where she became well known for her coleslaw recipe.

She was married in Oil City on August 7, 1948 to John E. McIntyre, who survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Lea Jolley and Terry Krawiec and her husband Joe, all of Oil City; two grandsons, Michael McIntyre of North Carolina and David G. Arlington and his wife Leah of Seneca; a granddaughter, Michael-Shannon Prahl of Franklin; nine great-grandchildren: Ashley Arlington, Ocean and Legend McIntyre, Ashley, Hudson, Samuel, and Anna Moore, Jacob Harton and Tyscen Reed; and one great-great-grandchild, Braylen Rhoades.

She is also survived by two brothers, Guy “Spike” Goodwill and his wife Margie of Oil City, and John “Jake” Goodwill and his wife Beth of Dover, Delaware; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Jane Beale and Virginia Womer; and a brother, Samuel Goodwill.

Friends will be received Thursday (Feb. 27th) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in the Hile-Best Funeral Home, Inc., 2781 Rte. 257 in Seneca, Cranberry Townsihp. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home Friday (Feb. 28th) at noon, and a visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service. The Rev. Ronee Christy, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church in Oil City, will officiate.

Interment will follow in Grove Hill Cemetery in Oil City.

Alice Margaret Hoover Brown, 90, formerly of 2007 Meadowland Drive, Meadville, passed away, Monday, February 24, 2014 at Wesbury United Methodist Retirement Community. She was born in Lucinda, Pennsylvania on January 22, 1924 a daughter of Dora Philomena Ginkel Hoover and Augustine Andrew Hoover. She married Raymond Guy Brown on December 27, 1948. He preceded her in death on April 1, 2010.

Alice was employed for many decades at Talon and was a member of Saint Agatha Roman Catholic Church.

She is survived by two sons, Jeffrey Brown and his wife Jo Anne of Fishersville, Virginia and Peter Brown and his wife Betsy of Du Bois; a daughter, Beth Kampsen and her husband Kurt of Pittsburgh; a brother, Edward Hoover and his wife Jessie of Lucinda; a sister, Leona Agnes King and her husband Robert of Phoenix, Arizona; and four grandchildren.

In addition to her loving husband she was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Edith Strickenberger, Mary Dorothy Felmet, Florence Mary Kaltenbach; and Agnes Ann Hoover; three brothers, John Hoover, Paul Hoover, and William Hoover; and a grand-daughter, Carolyn Marie Brown.

Family and friends are welcome to call on Wednesday, February 26th from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 7:00pm to 9:00pm at Roofner-Collins-Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 544 Chestnut Street, Meadville. Where a prayer vigil service will be held at 8:30pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, February 27th at 10:00am at Saint Agatha Roman Catholic Church, 353 Pine Street, Meadville with Father Johnathan Schmolt of Saint Brigid Roman Catholic Church as Celebrant.

Burial will follow beside her husband, Raymond, at Saint Brigid Cemetery, West Mead Township.

Memorial contributions may be made in Alice’s memory to Saint Agatha Roman Catholic Church, 353 Pine Street, Meadville, PA 16335.

Marian Kough

Marian Kough, 83, formerly of Rimersburg, died on Saturday, February 22, 2014, after a year-long bout with cancer.

Born June 4, 1930, on Chestnut Street in Rimersburg, Pa., she was the daughter of Clarence and Nellie Carmichael.

Marian grew up in a close-knit family of four brothers and three sisters.

She married Dutch Kough of Sandy Hollow on August 23, 1952, and spent the next 20 years traveling the world as an Air Force wife.

Mrs. Kough had two children, Kem, who was born in 1954, and Amee, born in 1958.

In 1974, her husband retired and they moved to Pensacola, Fla., where he enrolled in Liberty College and later became a pastor.

Mrs. Kough attended Liberty College and was actively involved in all areas of church life, as well as pursuing her art interest in painting, and her music interest in violin and piano.

She never lost her Pennsylvania roots, however, and returned on at least a yearly basis to visit friends and relatives, the last 15 at the Wolf’s Camp resort where they would spend their summers.

Back in Florida, Mrs. Kough was an assistant teacher for five years at Liberty School and worked as a hospice caregiver for 19 years.

Although Mrs. Kough battled cancer for over a year, she was only under hospice care for three weeks, and on her last visit she was walking around. On Thursday, however, she took a turn for the worse and by Saturday morning she was gone.

In addition to her husband, survivors include a son, Kem and his wife, Donna; three grandsons, Jonathan, Daniel and Jeremy Kough; four brothers Harold, Jim, Dick and Bob Carmichael; and two sisters, Geri Mayer and Weeze Bowser.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Amee; and a sister, Jean George.

In lieu of flowers, Mrs. Kough has requested donations to Hospice.

Margie Burris, age 63, of Sugar Creek Station, formerly of Seneca, passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2014.

She was born on July 13, 1950 in Brookville, the daughter of the late Harold W. and Ruth (Mahle) Conner. Margie was a homemaker, loved baking cookies, and she also worked at K-Mart. Margie collected bells from the fifty states and salt & pepper shakers. She was a member of the PNA Club in Oil City.

Margie is survived by her three sons, Daniel Burris and his wife Robin of Columbus OH, David Burris and his wife Lydia of Seneca, and Brent Burris of Seneca; her four brothers, William Conner of Ohio, Robert “Bob” Conner of Clarion, Dennis Conner of Sligo, and James Conner of Strattanville; her five sisters, Norma Biehl of Clarion, Lois Phillips of Knox, Joyce Chambers of Limestone, Patsy Reddinger of Knox, and Donna Zacherl of Clarion; and five grandchildren, Shavonne, Shaun, Jared, Emily, and Maggie Burris.

In addition to her parents, Margie was preceded in death by two sisters, Barb Wyant and Debra Lata, and one brother, John Conner.

Arrangements are under the care of the Goble Funeral Home and Crematory, 330 Wood Street in Clarion where visitation will be held from 10 – 11 am on Friday, February 28. Funeral services will follow at 11:00am in the funeral home with Marsha Mahle of Shiloh Presbyterian Church in Miola officiating. Interment will be in the Miola Cemetery.

Olive G. Anderson, 96, of Orlando, Florida, formerly of Oil City, died Monday evening, February 25, 2014 at the Florida Hospital East in Orlando.
