Jane E. Winger, 79, of 141 River St. Oil City, PA. died at 9:15 A.M. Tuesday June 10, 2014 at her home following a brief illness.
Born April 12, 1935 in Oil City, PA., she was the daughter of the late Charles & Rosella Sharp Rhodes.
Jane attended Franklin Schools.
On May 23, 1953 she married Paul W. Winger Jr. in St. Patrick’s Church in Franklin and he survives.
A homemaker, Jane raised 11 children. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, sewing, knitting, and crocheting. She always enjoyed a good game of cards or just reading a good book.
Mrs. Winger was a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Church.
In addition to her husband of over 60 years, she is survived by ten children and their spouses:

Kathryn O’Connor & her husband Thomas of Neilltown,
Deborah Voit of Oil City,
Mark Winger & his wife Ann of Oil City,
Daniel Winger & his companion Linda Glass of Oil City,
Colleen Fento & her husband Stephen of Oil City,
Patrick Winger & his wife Donna of Oil City,
Bruce Winger of Oil City,
Paul Winger III & his wife Patti of Oil City,
and Cheryl Faulk & her husband William of Oil City.
21 Grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren and a special Friend, Lisa Winger, of Oil City also survive.
She was preceded in death by a daughter Patricia Winger,
a son–in-law Mark Voit,
a grandson Paul Winger IV,
and a sister Barbara Hazlett.
A private Family Viewing will be held at the convenience of the family.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:30 P.M. Thursday June 12 in Our Lady Help of Christians Church with Fr. Shane Mathew, Pastor, Presiding.
Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
